About Us

Multi Me helps people plan their lives in a person-centred way using simple and smart technology.

We make online tools that help people with learning difficulties to share their stories, set goals, and work with others to plan their future.

Our work is based on person-centred planning, circles of support, and using pictures, videos, and words to build multimedia profiles.

We support people with learning difficulties, their families and carers, and the professionals who work with them, like teachers, social workers, and health staff.

We believe everyone should be included, make their own choices, and live a full and happy life.

Our goal is to make life planning easier and better for everyone, whether they are at school, at home, or in their community.

Our Values at Multi Me Ltd.

At Multi Me, we are committed to building a more inclusive, empowering world where every individual is heard, respected, and supported to live a fulfilling life. Our core values are:

  • Inclusion – We believe everyone has a right to belong, participate, and be valued in their communities.

  • Respect – We honour the dignity, voice, and experiences of every person we support.

  • Empowerment – We help individuals take charge of their own lives through accessible tools and supportive networks.

  • Collaboration – We work in partnership with individuals, families, professionals, and communities to foster real, lasting change.

  • Innovation – We continually develop and refine tools that make person-centred planning practical, creative, and effective.

These values guide our design, our partnerships, and every interaction we have.

Meet the Team

Charlie Levinson - Founder & Director After years of research and development starting in 2008 — including work with The Rix Centre at the University of East London to help create an early software prototype — I founded Multi Me Ltd. in 2010. My background is in person-centred planning and multimedia profiling, which shaped the vision behind the platform. We launched the Multi Me Beta in July 2011, followed by Version 1 in July 2012, Version 2 in September 2015, and Version 3 in December 2017.

Sergey Alvinsky - Lead Developer and CTO I’m a software engineer with solid experience in fullstack web development. I graduated from Gomel State University with a degree in computer science in 2014 and have worked across a variety of industries, including social networks, legal tech, investment, and data processing. I’ve been involved in all phases of the development life cycle, from concept to deployment. I’m also a big fan of reading — especially dystopian and fantasy fiction.

Craig Wilkie: DPO and Technical Support I’m a Research Fellow at the University of East London and with RIX Inclusive Research. I’ve worked alongside people with disabilities and others in marginalised or vulnerable groups to explore how technology can open up new opportunities and help build a more inclusive society.

With a background in education and technology, I’ve worked in primary and secondary schools, school improvement services, and local government.

Selina Levinson Drake - Administration and Support I have a background in arts and museum curation, with an MA and experience running community art projects. I'm passionate about helping people find and share their creative voice — and I also love keeping things organised and running smoothly.

Sam Bergin Goncalves - Advisor & Trainer – Person-Centred Planning & Digital Health I’m a parent carer to a young adult with complex health and care needs and have been using digital tools and multimedia advocacy to support joined-up care since 2014. When my son’s specialist college placement broke down, I created a bespoke adult service focused on his aspirations. I provide person-centred planning training for both the RIX Centre at UEL and Multi Me, and I sit on Multi Me’s board as an advisor. I’ve spoken at national events about information sharing and wellbeing, and held voluntary roles with organisations supporting people with learning disabilities, including on the Oxcare project board and as citizen lead for the PRSB. I’m especially passionate about the About Me standard in shared care records. I also serve as a public representative for the National Data Guardian.

Gavin Brown - Marketing & Sales I have been passionate about social media for many years, primarily helping people and organisations with facebook marketing. I am very happy to be part of the Mutli Me team as they have such a valuable product. Having family members with autism I fully understand the value of giving the best support to individuals with learning difficulties. Finally, I am a guy who loves poetry and raw chocolate.

Andy Minnion MBE – Board Advisor I founded the RIX Research & Media Centre at the University of East London and led it as Director and Professor of Media Advocacy until my recent retirement. My work has focused on using digital media to promote inclusion, advocacy, and human rights for people with disabilities. Since 2004, I’ve helped pioneer person-centred, co-produced digital tools in partnership with disabled people, families, and professionals across education, health, and care.

I was honoured to receive an MBE in 2012 for Services to the Education of People with Special Needs, and the AUCD International Service Award in 2015. I now enjoy life between Scotland and London and continue to support Multi Me as a board advisor.

2015 – Multi Me Version 2
Major upgrade with improved features. Bardwell School fully embedded Multi Me Goals into their curriculum.

2017 – Multi Me Version 3
Another leap forward — greater interactivity, enhanced features based on user feedback, and the launch of My Diary, co-developed with TreeHouse School.

2017–2019 – Expanding the Toolkit
Ongoing updates to Diary, Circle, Goals, and Calendar. Integrated the RIX My Wiki self-advocacy tool into the Multi Me dashboard.

2017–2019 – My Wiki & Multi Me Pilots
Piloted the combined toolkit in multiple settings, refining its application in real-world environments.

2020 – ‘Stay Connected’ During Lockdown
During the COVID-19 lockdown (March–June 2020), Multi Me ran the Stay Connected scheme as part of NHSX’s TechForce19 initiative. The scheme supported people with learning disabilities to stay in touch with their support networks using Multi Me tools.
