Our Commitment

Multi-Me Ltd is committed to making our websites, software platforms and mobile applications as accessible and inclusive as possible.

Multi Me is designed to support people with a wide range of communication, learning and accessibility needs. We recognise that people access, understand and communicate information in different ways, and we aim to provide digital tools that enable people to participate, communicate and have greater control over their own information.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We continually seek to understand and improve how people experience and use our services.

Designed with Lived Experience

Our approach to accessibility is informed by inclusive research, co-design, testing and feedback from people with lived experience.

Multi Me has been developed through our work with RIX Inclusive Research at the University of East London, involving people with learning disabilities and other accessibility and communication needs in research, testing and the development of digital technologies.

Their experiences and feedback help us understand how people actually use and experience technology and continue to inform the development of Multi Me.

Accessibility is not something we consider only at the end of development — the people our technology is designed to support help shape how it evolves.

Our Approach to Accessible Design

We aim to make Multi Me understandable and usable by as many people as possible.

Our approach includes:

Using clear and straightforward interfaces.
Supporting multimedia communication through text, photographs, video and audio.
Providing different ways for people to create, understand and share information.
Considering the needs of people with learning disabilities and communication needs throughout design and development.
Using inclusive research, user testing and feedback to inform improvements.
Reviewing accessibility as our technology develops and changes.

Accessibility Standards

We use recognised accessibility principles, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), to inform the ongoing design and development of our websites and digital services.

We do not currently claim full conformance with a specific WCAG level across all Multi Me websites, platforms and applications.

We recognise that some areas may not yet meet everyone's accessibility needs and are committed to identifying and addressing accessibility barriers as part of the continuing development of our services.

Third-Party Content and Services

Some parts of our websites or services may use content, integrations or services provided by third parties.

While we seek to use appropriate and accessible services, we may not have complete control over the accessibility of third-party content or technology.

Feedback and Accessibility Support

We welcome feedback from the people who use Multi Me, their families, supporters, professionals and organisations.

If you experience an accessibility problem when using Multi Me, RIX Wiki or our website, please let us know.

We will work with you to understand the problem and, where reasonably possible, make improvements or provide an alternative way of accessing the information or service.
