Interviews with Emma Townsend: A Parent Perspective

“Using it as a home school book the detail is dealt with whereas it gets lost in a paper format.”

About the project

In 2018, Multi Me worked with RIX Research & Media at the University of East London and Herefordshire Councilon a research project exploring the use of Multi Me and RIX Wikis across a range of settings in Herefordshire.

Led by RIX, the project involved schools, colleges and support services, with parents playing an important role as Buddies, supporting people to build and use their Multi Me.

As part of the project, we developed and piloted a hybrid version of Multi Me that brought RIX Wikis and Multi Me together in one platform, testing the approach with users in real-world settings.

Emma Townsend was one of the parents involved in the project. In this interview, she shares her experience of using Multi Me from a parent’s perspective.

“Its about making sure that everybody in her life are working towards the same goals”
